This article talked about finding your 'voice' and creating a 'voice' for you to build upon.When I was first going through writer's block, I used to think to myself, 'Why am I here?' I was frustrated because I wasn't having any luck with my current book project. I wanted to go back to school, but then I realized that even though it is probably not in my future now, I will still need to get my education, so that's what I decided to do.When I started to write my personal essay, I realized that I needed to find my voice and give it form and substance. So as I was editing my essay, I kept all of these things in mind, especially the fact that I needed to make sure that it made sense and it was coherent. By doing this, I was able to write an essay on my own.Who does this apply to? Anyone who is getting started in writing or has been writing for a while and is starting to get discouraged with the quality of the work they are producing.Let's look at the benefits that this article brings. First, it really demonstrates what a good quality essay can look like. It also shows that you don't have to just sit around and wait for your essayto come out perfect, because that is never going to happen.Second, by writing this essay, I now know what I need to do to improve my writing ability. By writing this article I was able to look at my errors, and find out where they were coming from, and actually apply some of the tips that were given to me.Finally, I now have new skills that I can apply to my writing. I learned how to make an essay on my own, and what to look for when editing my work.
